In an emergency, finding the correct location of an incident is paramount. Precious seconds may be lost searching for barely visible address numbers or poorly marked residences, especially at night. To help mitigate this problem, the Carrboro Fire-Rescue Department has reflective address markers available for purchase. Each marker costs $15.00. If you would like a metal pole for mounting your address marker, there is an additional $5.00 charge.

The bright, blue address markers are six inches wide and come with four-inch, reflective numbers that are highly visible during the daytime and nighttime. There is reflective material on both sides of the marker, and they are fade resistant. They will last for years! They also come with pre-drilled holes for easy mounting to mailbox posts or other poles. Additionally, upon request, our personnel will assist you with the installation of your address marker if you live within the Town of Carrboro or the South Orange Fire District.
