Our Mission: The Carrboro Fire-Rescue Department is dedicated to protecting the lives, property, and environment of our community and visitors from the destructive effects of fire, medical emergencies, natural disasters, and life hazards through prompt and professional delivery of fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue, disaster preparedness, public education, and emergency medical response services.

About Us: The Carrboro Fire-Rescue Department is a proud, professional organization consisting of 37 men and women dedicated to protecting the lives and property of the citizens of Carrboro and Orange County. It is our hope that as our site develops you will be able to get a sense of who we are, and, more importantly, offer you the resources you need to live and work in a fire-safe environment here in Carrboro.
