Affordable Housing

Carrboro is dedicated to providing opportunities for safe, decent and affordable housing for all residents, at any income level.

The Affordable Housing Goals & Strategies document guides the Town's work toward creating and preserving housing in Carrboro that is affordable to households earning 80% of the area median income or less. Affordability is defined as spending no more than 30% of household income on housing costs, including utilities.
